Why a fanlisting for Akito?
It's not common for me to get obsessed over a shojo series, since I'm more of a shonen fan. However, Kodomo no Omocha managed to captivate me from the beginning, making me laugh, cry and feel unlike any other (except maybe Fruits Basket). Of course, I fell for Hayama almost right away from the beginning and loved him more and more in each passing chapter. There's no other character in Kodocha that comes near him in my heart, and he stands at the very top of my favourite shojo guys. I can't believe how lucky I am for being able to maintain his fanlisting.
What does Akizora mean?
Akizora means literally Autumn Sky in Japanese. The kanji aki stands for autumn and sora (zora, when combined) meand sky. This name ocurred to me while looking for the meaning of the kanjis in Hayama's name. Akito is written with two kanjis, and the first one means autumn. Somehow, Hayama reminds me of autumn... calm in appearance but suffering changes internally. Chaotic, in a soothing way. Also, his hair and eyes color reminds me of that season.
Can I use your scans?
It depends. If you want to make a layout, an icon, a wallpaper, etc. please, feel free to use whichever you like. I don't own the illustrations, I just scanned them. A little credit would be VERY nice, though. On the other hand, don't just make a gallery using all the images. That'd be rude. Instead, give a link to this place. Also, direct-linking is absolutely prohibited.
Why are the scans watermarked?
Because nowadays it's very easy to do a google image search. Then a pic magically shows up and you just say you have no idea where it came from. Well, adding a watermark assures me you'll know where the scan came from. Aren't I a smart girl?
