hayama / till the end

Distance actually makes Hayama and Sana follow their own paths without intervening in the other's life. In fact, it may seem to their friends like their once unbreakable bond may have been split after all. Nothing further from the truth.

When Akito comes back to Japan, it's actually not the big event one may have imagined. It's as if he hadn't gone away in the first place. Akito and Sana's relationship keeps going as if they weren't ever apart, and that's what makes them so special. Even if they managed to be strong so far away, they still ache for the other's presence and show it when they're reunited at last.

Kodocha's ending is an open and hopeful one. Both Hayama and Sana have started to find what they think is their purpose in life, as well as proven their relationship is one that trascends both space and time. Kodocha's ending is actually not an ending per se, but the beginning of something else, as Hayama and Sana's life is only starting.
